So sorry to hear about Shirley's passing. I cherish the quilts she led the class in making for me when I stopped teaching, I treasure them dearly. She will be missed by so many.

My thoughts are with you all Alanna, Alan, Andrew and family. It's sad to look across the street and know Shirley's not at home. I'll miss our driveway chats when we'd both be out working in our yards and gardens. I've been blessed by lovely neighbors... Shirley was one of them. I'll look forward to seeing her poppys bloom next summer. Rest in peace Shirley.

Alan, Andrew and Allana. Shirley always was always the center of every room and had a great sense of humour and laugh. She was always there for my mom and for the good times and the bad. We had lots of fun times at the cottage and Christmas Eve when she would go all out with food. She just had the best heart. My deepest condolences to you. Lisa O’Toole

Sending my sincere sympathy to Allan and Shirley's entire family. She was such a nice person and I remember her huge smile. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. I remember seeing her at our little church at Long Pond and also the Sambro church and at church dinners. I am sure I seen her at hockey games too years ago. Sharon (Hamm) Boltz.
