Obituary of Gary Russell Misener

68, Halifax.  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father, brother and uncle, Gary Russell Misener at his home on Friday, August 11, 2023.  Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Russell and Jean Misener.   Gary loved his family.  He had a mischievous personality and a heart of gold.  He is survived by his only son, Wayne (Brendalee), brother, Ronnie, and a sister, Margaret “Margie” (Clarence), as well as nieces, Melissa, Michelle and Alicia, and nephews, Anthony and Paul.  He will also be missed by his 2 cats, Lucky and Tigger, who were his pride that are now being taken care of with love by Wayne.  He was predeceased by his parents.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside interment will take place on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 2 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville, NS.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Gary to a charity of your choice.
