Obituary of Christopher G. Thompson

Thompson, Christopher George: 58, Halifax, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2016 at Parkstone Enhance Care with his family by his side. Chris was the son of the late Frederick Thompson. Chris was an avid hunter, fisherman, and trapper. He loved to play video games with his nephews. He will be remembered for having many jobs over the years, as he was a jack-of-all trades who was always there to help anyone. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, daughters, Mandy and Amber, both of Halifax, three grandchildren, Madison, Chloe, and Aiden, as well as his mother, Lorraine, Halifax, and his sisters, Pat and Val. The family would like to express their gratitude to Bill Shields for the love and support he gave to Chris, and to the many caregivers who helped Chris over the years. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (902.477.5601). A private family service has already taken place.
