Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Joseph (Tony) Sampson who was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle and a great friend. He will be sadly missed by anyone who crossed his path.
He lived for his family and was always there to help everyone. I remember Tony coming to my house when his son was doing the plumbing and he was a great help. He will be remembered for the many golf balls that he collected and sold.
May the sorrow you feel in your hearts lighten by the love that surrounds you all during this difficult time. Know that you will always have the wonderful memories to cherish and comfort you and know that he is not suffering any longer. He is resting peacefully with loved ones that have gone before him.
God's love and many prayers are all around you, now and for as long as it takes. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends.

Shirley and Family, please accept my sincere condolences, on the passing of Tony. Since my childhood days, he was always a large and important figure in my life. He spent a lot of time with my father Andrew, and He and Dad, were responsible for many of my wondrous adventures as a child. In later years, I would always be watching Tony's activities, as he would get on his bike and travel around Hatchet Lake, to exercise or go on golf ball hunts. I had been following him on Facebook as well. I don't get to visit much, but You Shirley and Tony, are always in my thoughts, and memories. He was larger than life itself. A great and kind person, as I have ever known.I am sure he will be missed deeply.

I remember as a child uncle Tony and aunt Shirley taking me to the camp grounds with them and uncle Tony making me breakfast and then going to the hospital and having dinner there that he made so well . Uncle Tony was a kind soul and did not say much but you knew he loved you like his own. I was their godchild and they both always cared for me and. I Know I was loved by both . So sad to hear of Tony’s passing.Such a lovely, kindhearted man. He was so passionate about the activities he enjoyed, but more so about the people he loved. Todd often reminisces about “ Uncle Tony’s Christmas Dinner “ at the hospital. All the families would be there and Tony would happily feed everyone, what a wonderful gift. He will be sadly missed, but lovingly remembered.

So very sorry to see another love one go. It saddens my heart that we won’t hear anymore of Tonys great outdoor stories. He had a great memory of his youth and everything that he shared with his family and friends over his life. He had a big heart and I will miss his Christmas hugs . Shirley. Donna. Stephen & Family Please accept our sincere condolences on your loss . This is a big void to accept I could go on for ever speaking in regard of our relationship which i felt was pure & from the heart, over the years we were always at each other side if it were fishing. hunting , cutting logs, repairing house , pitching Horseshoes , sitting around campfire while camping playing music & Tony front & center with the spoons slapping hand to knee. These memories cannot be taken away and i say this as our hearts are with you and your entire family at this time.
