Obituary of Arline Vivian Tiny Keats

Captain Arline Vivian Tiny (Burt) Keats, age 86, of Halifax, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 in Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born in Twillingate, Newfoundland. She was a daughter of the late Frederick and Gertrude (Mugford) Burt.

Arline was a retired Salvation Army Captain. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are her children, Danny Keats, Jean Brenton, Wylie Keats, Clyde Keats, Derek Keats, Joanne Thornhill; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Arline was predeceased by her husband William “Bill” Keats and her daughter Sharon Keats.

Celebration of her life will be 1p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Halifax West Community Church.
