Obituary of Paul Henry Sidney

SIDNEY, Paul Henry- Age 80 of Halifax, it is with deepest regret and sorrow, I announce the passing of my beloved husband and friend Paul Henry Sidney on March 26, 2023.  Born on March 11, 1943, to the late Laurence and Lavina (Smith) Sidney.  

He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly (Shay) Sidney; fur baby Toby; children, Dennis, Katrina and Paul Jr; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; cousins; he is also survived by sisters, Diane (Gerald) Harding, Mary Sidney, Patsy Sidney, Donna Sidney; brother, Bill (Kathy) Sidney.  He was predeceased by sisters, Barb Dodworth (Ken), Betty Duncan (Ed); brother, Laurel (Carolyn).

Paul loved his family and friends, and I am sure he will be pleased to see the outgoing love and support for his wife Beverly.  He loved each one of you, especially his brothers, sisters, in-laws who were family to him.

In keeping with Paul’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax.  There will be no visitation or funeral service.  A celebration of Life will be held at the Spryfield Legion at a later date.  You can call the Legion for a time and date.  A very big Thank-you to Melville Lodge for their care and compassion when Paul was a residence there and J.
