So sorry to learn of Mary's passing. She and her family were great neighbors and everyone that had kids going to Harrietsfield Elementary knew Mary mine included. She would always make sure their hats and mitts were on and coats buttoned up. She kept all the kids safe when she was the crossing guard. Had lots of great chats over the years until we moved away. Keeping her family in our thoughts and prayers. Rest easy Mary. Hugs to all. Elizabeth & Jimmy Noel

Mary, you will be missed! Years after my children left the Excel program, I always enjoyed bumping into Mary - usually at the grocery store. I very much appreciate the kind care she provided, and her warm yet frank ways. She was a lovely human being. Our community will be dimmer without her, but her spark will live on in all us who had the privilege of knowing her. My sincere condolences to Mary's family and friends.

My deepest condolences to you all at this time. I had the joy of working with "Miss Mary" at an Excel program. She was a wonderful, caring woman. So full of spunk and hilarious. She loved on every child, and co-worker. Even in the years after, when we would meet, she was a bright spot in my day. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

So very sorry for your loss. I also have such beautiful, fond memories of Mary. Mary took care of my son Jordan back in the late 90s, and she looked out for him throughout his Elementary years. I am so sorry to hear about Mary’s passing. I knew Mary from Harrietsfield Elementary. She was a gem, always willing to share her opinion and eager to hear about our dreams and goals for the school, and most importantly how they were going to impact the children. I recall Mary as small in stature but big in personality. It took her a while to get to know us and trust us, but when she did, she loved big. We were blessed to earn our way into her heart. Sending condolences to her family and loved ones.

Mary was a playground monitor at Harrietsfield Elementary School when I was a student there. She was always such a riot to have on the playground. A kinder heart and more energetic laugh, you couldn’t find. My condolences to her entire family.

My deepest condolences to the Eisenhauer family. Mary and I worked together at the afterschool program and had many chats at the mailboxes in later years. She was an absolute doll! My heart is broken for you all. Rest in Peace my little squish mallow. Kim S.

It's been a while, but I am grateful I was able to see you when I did. There are so many fond memories as a child. I am happy for the special bond that you have given me in Paula, we will forever keep you in our memories.

When I was younger Mary lived down the road from us and for quite some time she was the crosswalk guard that helped me cross the road to school every morning. I would yell down to her to start counting so she could time me as I would race down the hill and every morning she would tell me how fast I was! She was a very kind lady and I know she put a smile on lots of people's faces. I'm sorry for your loss.

Paula and family, we are so sorry to hear this news. Anyone who grew up in or around Harrietsfield knew your Mom and loved her. Whether it was at your place as kids or on route to school, your Mom always looked out for us. Mom and Dad said they would always see her at McDonald’s and pull up for a chat. All she ever talked about was you, your siblings and the grandkids. Her family was her world. Again, our deepest condolences, Melissa, Brenda and Arthur.

To the Eisenhauer family. Thinking of you all doing this hard time so very sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. My greatest memories of her are in the mornings at the bus stop the jokes and torment and laughter that she brought to us each morning made the day start off good and if we were in a bad mood should polk at us even more lol. She had a heart of gold and would’ve done anything for you. Just don’t piss her off. LoL . Sending you all lots of love. Prayers for strength during your hard time. Thinking of you all. so sorry for your loss Russ,Paula,Dennis,Shawn & Family , well so many memories , working at HES School together,cross walk buddies, our 1st bargaining march, the kids parties,school fairs,making sure our kids were safe crossing every day, the talks we had, all the funny stories she told , we had lots of great ,fun & sad times together RIP: Mary gone but not forgotten.
