Obituary of James Edward Kenny

KENNY, James “Jimmy” Edward- It is with deep sadness in our hearts that we have to say a final farewell to James Edward Kenny "Jimmy" 61 years old.  Born on Prince Edward Island in 1961, Jimmy passed away January 24, 2023, in Halifax, NS, where he has called home for the past 20 years. 

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Fagan; children, Jamie Lynne and Craig and their families; brother and sisters. Jimmy has a large Nova Scotia family who love him and will miss him deeply. 

Jimmy was a one of kind person with a big heart. He loved golf, football – especially the Cowboys, and was well known for his cooking skills. Everyone looked forward to food favorites he would bring to the family gatherings. He had a great sense of humor and cared deeply about all people, especially his family, friends, and co-workers.  

Arrangements and cremation have taken under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home.  In keeping with Jimmy's wishes there will be a private service held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jimmys memory can be made to Shelter Nova Scotia.
