Obituary of Dante Lizaso Tesorero

Tesorero, Dante Lizaso, of Halifax. 

It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Dante Lizaso Tesorero at Halifax, Nova Scotia, on January 12, 2023. Born in Bato, Catanduanes, Philippines, he was the son of the late Juan and Lucina Tesorero. 

Dante will be sadly missed by his family because he had been a devoted husband, a good provider for his wife and children and a doting grandfather. He was a joker and a storyteller, that's why everybody wanted to be around him. 

Surviving are his wife Joycelyn Tesorero; daughters Bambi, Ruiza and Sushi; sons-in-law Gervin and Jeffrey and grandchildren Carlo, Katkat, Matmat, Lala and Julio. 

Visitation will take place on Saturday January 14, 2023 from 12:00-2:00pm, with the funeral service to take place at 2:00pm at J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, Nova Scotia. For those unable to attend in person, there will be the option to join via livestreaming:
