Obituary of Susan June Spurr

SPURR, Susan June- Age 97 of Halifax, June passed away on January 8th, 2023 at Northwood Halifax Campus in her 98th year. Born in Round Hill, N.S, she was a daughter of the late John and Harriett (Whitman) Spurr, the sixth child in a family of seven.  June spent most of her adult years working in Waltham, Mass and only returned to Canada in 1982 taking up residence in Halifax, N.S.  She is survived by her brother, Bernard (Lois) Moncton, N.B.; sister, Ruth, Waltham. Mass; several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her three brothers, Lawrence, Russell and Isaac; sister, Mary Fairn.  Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax.  In keeping with June's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.
