Ursula Stamp posted a condolence
I have so many memories of Blanche. She was part of my family from when I was a teenager to the time she moved to Halifax. My children remember her too even though they were young while she was here with us. Her homemade bread and rolls were the BEST. May she rest in piece Ursula stamp

I was a young child when Blanche would come to our house on Rendell Place in St. John's back in the early 70s(My Mom, Maureen Casey's parents had employed Blanche as well). She was always energetic, hard-working and fun . . and as my aunt Ursula mentioned, she made the most FABULOUS home made bread and buns! We could smell them down the street as we returned from school . . . I was lucky to see Blanche on her birthday 2 years ago. She looked terrific and it was so nice to see her after more than 30 years! May she rest in peace!
