Obituary of Dorothy Jean Noseworthy

NOSEWORTHY (BONYMAN), Dorothy Jean

It is with heavy hearts the family announce the passing of Dorothy, age 88, peacefully at the QEII - VG Site on November 15, 2022. 

Born in Cascumpec, PEI, she was the only child of Russell and Gladys (Ashley) Bonyman. 

As a young lady she came to Halifax and shortly after met her future husband on a blind date. Dorothy was a graduate of the nursing program at the former Grace Materinity Hospital. After working for a few years she spent the rest of her working years as a part-time nurse, a homemaker and doing volunteer work. She enjoyed crafts, painting, gardening and camping. She loved the beauty of nature and spending summers at their cottage in PEI. She enjoyed spending time with her PEI cousins. 

Dorothy is survived by her husband George, grandson Jason and his mother Dawn (late Gary). She was predeceased by sons Gary and Blaine. Also survived by George's brother Clyde (Sara) and family. There will be no funeral, a committal service will be held at a later date in PEI. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
