Obituary of Crystal Lee Verge

It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Crystal Lee Verge at the QEII - Halifax Infirmary on October 26, 2022. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of June Marie Rogers (LeRoy Thomas) and William Ruben Verge. 

Crystal worked in the drycleaning industry for 30+ years. When she was young it was her dream to become a hair stylist. She enjoyed singing, dancing, partying and listening to music. She enjoyed doing puzzles and keeping her home clean. Although she was stubborn at times she loved her 3 boys and family more than anything. She didn't have much but valued what she had and made it work. She was very giving and respectful. She just became a grandmother and always wanted to be one. She will be greatly missed. 

Surviving are her sons, Donny, Dean and Michael; granddaughter, Piper; brother, Billy and sisters, Susan, Melinda and Lisa. 

She was predeceased by her mother, June Marie Rogers and father, William Ruben Verge.

There will be a gathering for family and friends on Friday November 4, 2022 at 1:00 pm followed by a 2:00 pm Celebration of Life in the chapel at J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, B3P 1K6.
