Obituary of Georgina Charlotte Adams

Adams, Georgina Charlotte (Oldham), Halifax.

 

It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Georgina Charlotte Adams at the Victoria General Hospital on October 14, 2022. Born in Halifax, NS, she was the daughter of the late Henry Neil Oldham and Ann Rene Oldham.

 

Georgina was an entrepreneur and owner of Pizza Delight with husband Glenn Adams in Spryfield / Almond Street. She was a loving care aid who loved to take care of seniors and had received a Governor General Award. She loved to garden, make flower arrangements and make crafts of all kinds for everyone. She also adored her cat Missy, her ever faithful friend. 

 

Surviving are her Sons, Larry Adams, Glenn Adams; Daughters, Annette Adams, Darlene Rice. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Sisters, Jeannie O'Quinn; Brothers, Victor Oldham, Bernard Oldham, Darrell Oldham, Clearence Oldham. 

 

Predeceased by her parents Henry Neil Oldham and Ann Rene Oldham; Husband, Glenn Lloyd Adams; Sons Clearance (Clay) Francis Adams, Todd Lewis Adams, David Allen Adams; Elizabeth Tanner, Anita Oldham; Brother Gordon Oldham. 

 

A Celebration of Life and prayers will be held on Monday October 17, 2022 from 6:30 - 9:00 pm at J  Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove, Halifax, NS. 

 

Georgina will be laid to rest at Holy Trinity Cemetery with husband Glenn Adams, sons Clay and Todd in Frankfurt, Ontario on Thursday October 20, 2022 at 10:00 am.
