Obituary of Eleanor Grouse

GROUSE, Eleanor- Age 76 of Windsor- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eleanor Grouse on August 26, 2022 at Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, NS.  Born in Annapolis Valley she was a daughter of the late Victor and Margaret (Hines) Sanford.  Eleanor had a love for bowling, bingo and having a few beers with family.  She enjoyed dancing and crossword puzzles.  She is survived by her sons, Richard (Kathy) Grouse, Grant Grouse and John Bryan Grouse; daughters, Heather (Ed) Grouse and Crystal Grouse; brother, Gerald Sandford; grandchildren, Eric, Marie, Tevin, Kistyn, Isiah, Broady, phoenix, Gabrille and Kendell; step grandchildren, Bailee and Kyle; great grandchildren, Aliva; many nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by her loving husband John H. Grouse; son, Troy Grouse; brothers, Rosco Sanford, Ralph Sanford, Howard Sanford, Freeman Sanford and Keith Sanford; sisters Ella Sanford, Madline Huntley and Muriel Huntley.  In keeping with Eleanor’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to J.
