Obituary of Betty Marie Gray

GRAY, Betty Marie (Shubley)- Age 91 of Halifax, it is with sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Betty Marie Gray on July 13, 2022 at Northwood Ivany Place, Bedford.  Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Lincon and Pearl Shubley.  She loved country music and dancing.  She was an excellent card player; her specialty was 45’s round Walz, was her favorite.  She is survived by her children, Larry (Marlene) Gray, Stanley (Donna) Gray, Deanna Earl, Dennis Gray and Rick (Carol) Gray; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; she was predeceased by her loving husband Laurence Gray; sons, David Gray and Darren Gray; daughter, Colleen Gray. Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd.  In keeping with the Bettys wishes there will be no visitation.  A burial at St. David’s cemetery in Portuguese Cove.  In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Betty’s memory to Northwood Foundation.
