Obituary of Elsie Goodhew

Elsie G. Goodhew, age 79, Terence Bay, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday June 9, 2022 at the QEII - Halifax Infirmary. Born in Terence Bay, she was a daughter of the late Ronald and Irene Slaunwhite. Elsie loved playing horse shoes and ring toss. She also loved going on long drives. She loved picking apples, berries and other fruits. She was happiest when she was with her family and friends. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly and she was especially close to her sister Marion. She is survived by her children, Wanda (Dave), Cliff Jr. (Debbie), Rose (Yvan), Brenda and David (Chris) Goodhew; grandchildren Shaun (Codie), Laura (Steve), Brittany (Devan), Adam (Rachel), Megan (Simon), Damon, Max (Josee) and Jeremy; great grandchild Fara-Rose; and sister Marion. Aside from her parents she is predeceased by husband Clifford; great grandson Hudson; brothers Kenny, Carl, Edward, Vernie and Frank.
