To Robert's family, My condolences to you on your loss. I worked at an art store downtown in the 2000s and Robert was a frequent customer. He was always friendly, pleasant, and up for a chat. He'll be missed by many folks in HRM.

I came across this obituary as I was looking for someone else on the site. I saw the face and immediately remembered... I have never forgot Robert. I worker at Best Buy about 10 years ago and he used to come in and look for the old movies. This was when they still had the huge movie section. He was SO pleasant. I enjoyed helping him find whatever he was looking for. I'm sorry to his loved ones. Please know he made an impact... Even on me as a teenager who worked at Best Buy.

I am so sad to hear of "Bobby Bears" passing. He was one of a kind. I met him from working at Parkstone Enhanced Care and we had some fun crazy times. When I left my job at the facility it was Him that I missed the most. I am very thankful that God gave me the opportunity to meet him. May God be with you all at this time. Rest in Peace Bobby Bear.

Kathleen and Family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad and difficult time. I was both shocked and saddened to find out that Robert has passed away. Robert and I had many wonderful conversations over the past few years no matter what shift I was working and he was a man full of knowledge. I admired Robert’s ability to be able to get out and about in the Bayers Lake shopping area despite his disability and travelling in his power wheelchair. He would always come back with a few bargains, a story or two and was proud to show you his latest collectible car find. Heaven has gained a special Angel, for sure, and Robert will certainly be missed by many. I’m so glad that our paths crossed ….. Rest In Peace, my friend and God bless. Diane, RN
