Fond memories of Inge.
Especially at Christmas time when she would break out her harmonica and play.
Sincere condolences on your loss,
Christine

Sincere condolences are extended to all of Inge’s family, as she moves on to her eternal home. Inge was my sister-in-law, having married my brother Bud in the mid-50’s in Germany. As a new bride, she left her native land to come to Canada, where she and Bud raised their amazing children, Frank, Mike, Gary and Cathe ~ the joys of her life.
Inge cared deeply for her family and instilled high morals, values and principles in her children. As a devoted and dedicated wife, she cared for and about Bud. He was blessed to have her as his life-long partner. Inge’s home was everything to her –
a home that was always warm and inviting with a pot of tea and desserts to enjoy. It reflected her creativity and her sense of style. It was a home as open as her heart – a heart that saw beauty in everything and everybody.
Inge was a hard-working woman and always true to herself. She was a truth teller and was able to communicate her thoughts and feelings to others in a gentle and honest way. Kind by nature, sincere, genuine, vibrant and full of life, it was the simple things that made her happy.
Inge was like a big sister to me and as I reflect on my late teen years and early 20’s, I will always remember how she was there for me, when I was experiencing young love, with all its joys and sorrows. She listened, she offered wise advice and her inquisitive face always said she was interested and she cared.
Inge had a sense of humor that was as unique as Inge, herself. Bud relished in this and was always quick to tell an Inge story. But together, they were a great comedy team that would rival the likes of Desi & Lucy, the odd couple, Gracie & George Burns and Penn & Teller.
A strong woman – quiet light – peaceful dove … she taught wisdom, she taught love. Her legacy will live on in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all those, whose lives she touched. Fly high, dear, sweet Inge – you have more than earned your wings.
