Obituary of John Christopher Williams

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that the family of John Christopher Williams announces his peaceful passing after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the age of 47, surrounded by loved ones in the Palliative Care Unit 7A at the Victoria General Hospital.

John was born and raised in Halifax and after schooling was employed in Central Services Department of the Victoria General Hospital. John moved to Winnipeg Manitoba in 2001 where he obtained employment at the Health Sciences Centre and remained there until late 2004, there upon returning to Halifax. John enjoyed playing video games and when not playing video games would display a unique sense of humour, with a razor sharp wit.

John was pre-deceased by maternal grandparents, Isabell and Basil Noiles and paternal grandparents, Gracie and Percy Williams. John will be lovingly remembered by his partner of 12 years, Rose, daughters, Shaleena, Miranda and Mia; son, Chase and three grandchildren. Forever remembered by mother and stepfather Marva and John Green, father, John Williams Sr.; brother, Scott Williams (Kelly); sister, Allison Green; aunts, uncles, cousins and two nephews.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or I.W.K Hospital.
