Obituary of Robert Parker Drysdale

Age 71 of Halifax, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at the Halifax Infirmary on October 9, 2020. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Charles and Hannah (Stewart) Drysdale.

He is survived by brothers, Charles and Mark; sisters, Gloria and Phyllis; sons, Robert (Sharon) and Shawn (Lisa); daughter, Tanya; step-daughters, Tracy (James), and Dawn (Neal); grandchildren, Avery, Brianna, Caymin, Carrie, Hunter, Riley, Leandra, Damian, Tristan, and Adrian, Jacob, Zach. He is predeceased by loving wife, Rose; and sister, Gail.

Arrangements have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. Visitation to take place Monday, October 19 at 10 a.m. for the public at 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, with a private family service to follow at 12:30 p.m. Interment to follow with wife, Rose Drysdale at Oakridge Memorial Gardens, 1078 Old Sackville Road, Middle Sackville, NS. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral service will be private for family. Those wishing to be present at the cemetery service, please arrive at Oakridge Memorial Gardens by 2:00 p.m.
