Obituary of Frank Carson Hawes

age 64 of Dartmouth. It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Frank passed away peacefully at the V.G. Hospital in Palliative Care on September 17, 2020. He was the eldest son of Blanche (Fagan) Hawes and the late Carson Hawes.

In Frank’s early years he enjoyed putting models together, fishing, hunting and making memories with family and friends.

He is survived by his sons, Frank Jr. and Dennis; their mother, Beaty Myers; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Janet, Susan (Jim) MacCallum, and Maria; brothers, Gary (Sherri) and Walter; and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff and Frank’s extended family at Harbour Glen Manor for their love, support and care for Frank throughout the years. A special thank you to Frank’s nurse, Morgan Lewin at 5A for her outstanding care and compassion with Frank and his family in his final hour. He will be missed by all.

Arrangements have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd., Halifax, where visitation will be held Monday, September 28th at 10 a.m. Service to follow in the funeral home chapel.
