Miss Miller, you were someone that I enjoyed seeing around town. Whether it was at Walmart or seeing you on North Street heading to The Manor. You made me walk that hill to come cut your hair. The walk up the hill took longer than the cut itself. You gave your heart to The Lord, which was amazing, but I sure did miss you yelling at me. I would try to break you, but you were a different person. Thank you for the memories on The Hill. Rest In Peace Miss Miller. Love you

To Ray and Family,
I send my deepest sympathy.
I will never forget Jeanie's laugh and her smile. As a child I would always find a way to make her laugh and chuckle. I have always been great-full and I treasure how much love and respect Jeanie had for my parents. For over 40 years she made sure my parents received cards for their Birthdays/Easter/Christmas and their Anniversaries.
The Greatest gift that she blessed our family with was choosing my parents to be Ray's God Parents.
Ray please know that we will always be here for you as your Mom planned it. we are here for you always.
I Love you dearly my Brother.
Always

Offering our condolences and sympathy to the family of Barbara Jean Miller....so sorry to hear of her passing. Whenever my sister and I saw Jean she would chat with us and make us laugh with a story and her smile. We had a great conversation with her at her church in Spryfield last year and will certainly miss seeing her at the Mumford bus terminal on her way to visit veterans or doing her volunteer work...may God Bless her family and may she rest in heavenly peace. We are going to miss our Barbara Jean. Myself (Marilyn Jones) my husband (David Jones) and my sister (Sharon Strum) are all going to miss her so very much. She always met us at the Camp Hill on Tuesdays, when we went to visit my dad. We had many good laughs when there with her. Such a wonderful lady. She will be truly missed. After my dad passed, my sister Sharon kept in touch with her by phone. We were so shocked to hear from her granddaughter she was very ill and wasn't supposed to live. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family whom she loved so much. Such a caring lady.

On behalf of Rev. Dr. Joyce Ross (Interim Pastor), the Ministerial Team, the Deacon’s Ministry and the entire Church family at the East Preston United Baptist Church, we would like to express our sincerest condolences to the family of the late Sis. Barbara Jean Miller.
Sis. Barbara will be greatly missed but her memory will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
In your time of bereavement, we trust that these words found in the book of 1st Corinthians 15:55-57 will comfort you and lift you up. “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? “For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. AMEN!
It is our prayer that the Lord will continue to show you His tender mercies, strength and peace in the days and months ahead. May He also surround you with the love and comfort of family and friends and grant you peace.
God Bless You All!
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Respectfully,
Ruby Williams, Clerk
East Preston United Baptist Church

To my cousins- Ray, Stephanie, Web, Fred, Robyn all family of Jean ( Barton) Miller I extend heartfelt Christian sympathies on behalf of Jeans dear cousin Laura Daye and the Daye Family. We loved our cousin Jean and oh did she love us, we and the Drummond’s of Creighton Street. Ever since I was a little girl I can remember Jean at Aunt Daisy’s house and our house, and when Aunt Hilda, and Georgina came home from Montreal they would all be together carrying on. I recall Robyn coming home here as well. She was so very pretty as are Stephanie and our dear Julie who has gone on before her. We all know and acknowledge each other as Cous. Jean gave her heart to the Lord and oh how she loved Jesus. She was a witness for her Lord.
I pray God’s peace and comfort to each one of you. She rests from her labor but her works do follow her.
Sincerely
In love
Cousin Melinda( Lynn)
