Obituary of Michael Charles Littlejohn
Halifax, it is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother and uncle on March 26, 2020. Michael was predeceased by his father, Arthur Stuart Littlejohn and his brother, James Stuart Littlejohn. Survived by his mother, Lucille Littlejohn, Halifax; sister, Gail Rouleau (Patrick), Bedford; niece Tiffany Rouleau, Halifax. He also leaves behind his extended family and friends in Scotland.
He was born in Tarland, Scotland October 21,1956. After his education in Scotland, Michael worked off shore for the past 30 years. Through dedication and unparalleled work ethic, he worked his way up to the position of Rig Manager. After retiring in 2015, he enjoyed his life to the fullest amongst family and friends here in Halifax. Mike had a passion for motorcycles, sports cars, golf and many other fine things in life. But his strongest passion was his unconditional generosity and deep love of family and friends. He had a boundless capacity for patience, forgiveness and tolerance. His awesome zest for life, kind spirit, infectious laugh and twinkling blue eyes always left an indelible imprint on the many lives he touched. Michael was a gift to all who had the pleasure of knowing him, and his was a life well lived. His presence will be sadly missed but always remembered and cherished.
Donations in Michael’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
