Hello Marilyn and Russell,
So sorry to hear about your Mum. Allan only found the Chronicle Herald obituary the day before yesterday, and I had to get Walker's to help me with their web page to send condolences, as it just wasn't working. I too shared some very good last minute meals at 439.
I'm so glad she enjoyed her stay at Parkstone; that makes such a difference when they are in a good place. Like my Mum, she lived a long life - 95! That is a very good innings.

To all family, relatives and children of Vola:
In honor and memory of Vola Derbyshire. Our thoughts of Marguerite (Vola) are deeply heartfelt and your heartache is also felt in the loss of dear Vola, and your mom, Marguerite Vola! Marguerite is so pretty.
You mention her smile dear family but I have to add that her laugh and giggle I thought was precious and it gave me laughter.
Yes, her salutation to all the crocodiles she knew and I'm sure she was the queen of crocodiles, was loved by all.
The alligators in her life were so plentiful! I bet not one day in her life went by without Vola saying in her loving voice, 'See you later alligator!' - I'm hoping all replied - 'after a while crocodile!'. To me it meant 'Bye for now, I love you' - Showing her big smile!!
So might we say, this crocodile will be seen again by all of those she loved and those that loved her. I would like to say 'until we meet again', and we'll just keep loving and remembering Vola as she was.
Until later comes look way up at a sky lit night, you'll see a crocodile beaming from the constellations! Smiling, waving, laughing, saying 'Just for now' - Hubba Ding!
