Brian & family. Sorry to hear of Kay's passing. Alough small in stature she had a big heart and didn't mind sharing her opinion with others. I remember some good times with her during her training at Depot and then getting to know you both while working in Charlottetown. I know she will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this time of remembrance. Unfortunately with are out of the country and unable to attend her function.
Regards
Reg & Carolyn Reeves

Dear Brian and family, so sorry to hear of Kay's passing so young. She was so energetic and full of life. I remember when she worked in detachment then decided to become a mountie with her being so short. But she became one great mountie who no one would push around. I remember the story where she stopped a big rig and using her commanding voice, told the guy get out of the truck and he did! A light has surely gone out. The memories will hold her dear to you. God Bless

Kay was such a force and when I think of her I can't help but smile. She and Brian were so generous with allowing us all those girls' nights at the cottage - giving Amanda and her besties so many cherished memories in the beautiful and welcoming space you created on PEI. Here's a picture of us circa 2010.
Kay will be dearly missed by all she touched. Much love and big warm hugs to your family.

I was so very sorry to hear of Kay's passing. I first met you, Brian, & Kay at a fellow officer's funeral in 1991. You both gave me a caring shoulder that I always remembered. I met Kay again years later at the Academy & it was nice to get that hug again. Time will only help to heal what you are all going through now. Please accept my condolences at this difficult time.
