Obituary of Rose Ann Drysdale

Age 67, of Halifax, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2019.

Born in Sandy Point, Shelburne NS, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Viola (Buchanan) Stuart. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Rose was a woman of incredible faith, and a constant witness of the love of God and was an active member of City Church. Rose worked at Mikes NoFrills (Superstore) for 15 years. She loved to travel, go bowling and meet her friends at McDonalds. She was a social butterfly who was also a mother to many children other then her own. Rose fought a good fight, she finished her course, and she kept the faith.

Rose is lovingly remembered by her husband, Robert Drysdale; daughters, Tracy (James) Pottie, Dawn (Neal) Frail; grandchildren, Damian (Rachel), Zachary, Jacob, Riley (Olivia), Tristan, Adrian and Leandra; sisters, Helen Lightfoot, Vera Mae Davis; brother, Floyd Stewart.

She was predeceased by her parents and brother Martin Stewart.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., visitation will be held on Thursday November 7, 2019 from 7-9pm and a celebration of life service for Rose will be held on Friday November 8, 2019 at 2pm both from City Church, 276 Herring Cove Road.
