I am deeply sorry for your loss, I know the heartache of losing a loved one. Soon the God of Comfort will bring an end to death and wipe away the tears from all faces, for this has been promised at Isaiah 25:8. We can also look forward to the marvelous hope brought out at Acts 24:15 There we see that those we lost in death will be brought back to life here on earth. My deepest condolences, to Greg and the rest of the clan. Gerald was absolute favourite neighbour, never missed a hug from him. Always cheerful, slyly funny, with a wicked twinkle in his eye. There was never a car ride that Phil didn't tell a story about his father. Without trying to be, Mr. Dempsey cared and someone you could go to for help. Sometimes I didn't know if I grew up in Herring Cove or Dempsey's Place. Nice to know that Frankie and Gerald are together again.

I used to work at Henry Birks & Sons Ltd. in Scotia Square and remember how knowledgeable and kind Lorne as a co-worker. He made the work, (Men's & Ladies Gift Department) interesting and rewarding.
