I am deeply sorry for your loss, I know the heartache of losing a loved one. Soon the God of Comfort will bring an end to death and wipe away the tears from all faces, for this has been promised at Isaiah 25:8. We can also look forward to the marvelous hope brought out at Acts 24:15 There we see that those we lost in death will be brought back to life here on earth. I do hope you find comfort in this as I have. Mythoughts are with you
Sincerely, Janet

A great Man and friend. My first full time employer and he taught me a lot including life lessons. Had the opportunity to fish with him at ragged and a few fishing lessons as well. Loved his stories, some about my Dad. Always had time for conversation and also became a good customer when I had my own business. It was a great pleasure to have known and worked for him.

Dear Joyce,
So sorry to hear of your father's passing. I was so pleased to spend an afternoon with him when he was well. We had some good laughs that day. We talked about the time I cooked supper for him aboard the Canuck when it was tied up in Ketch Harbour. We were eating steak, when I suddenly remembered it was Friday, and being a good Catholic girl, I wasn't supposed to eat meat on Fridays.
He remembered that and we both had a great laugh over it.
Lots of fond memories, Love to you all, Ginny (& John) Inkpen.

To Brenton's children and siblings
I was saddened to read of Brenton's passing, although I have been out of Ketch Harbour for 55 years childhood memories are never forgotten. Going over to the Head with my dad(Gerald) to the Post Office and as a child not knowing the connection, then to watch Joey, Brian and Joyce come to the Harbour to school and ofcourse Benton always owning the boat yard, but most of all can remember how kind he was and always had the smile on his face. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this trying time.

I was Privileged to sit quietly and listen as he told me wonderful stories about his family and his amazing life. I was Happy as he captained the FUN BOAT around Ragged Lake sharing his humour, patience and joy with two sisters who came to treasure his warmth and gentleness.
Brenton Gray was my friend and my heart hurts that he is gone but he leaves behind children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who share and will learn to share his sense of integrity, compassion, humour and above all kindness.
