Obituary of John William Organ

Age 75, Halifax, passed away Sunday October 28, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Sylvester and Ruby (Graham) Organ.

Bill is survived by his wife and best friend, Diane (McFarlane); son, Bill (Ingrid), Ireland; daughter, Shari (Alex), Halifax; sister, Nancy (Peter previously deceased), Halifax; brother, Gary (Tena), Ottawa; grandchildren, Danielle (AJ) and Shawn; great grandson Flynn and several nieces and nephews.

Bill spent his career at Allen Print and celebrated his 55th year of service in 2015, an accomplishment he was most proud of. Bill leaves behind the legacy of his family values, loyalty and work ethic which he instilled in his children and grandchildren, who will continue to teach these lessons to his great grandson Flynn, and all future generations. Bill had an avid love of sports and all things outdoors, and his favorite recollections were memories made at the camp in Moshers River.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where a Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday November 1^st at 12p.m. Reception to follow. Interment to take place at a later date.

The family would like to make a special thank you to the Palliative Care and Von teams who made keeping Bill home in his final days possible with their amazing support and care.
