Obituary of Anton Orlic

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anton Orlic on October 26th at the age of 81. “Tony”, as he was known by his friends and family, immigrated to Canada from the former Yugoslavia in 1956. He was proud to call Nova Scotia his home soil. Tony worked hard to put himself through Acadia University and then on to complete his Mechanical Engineering Degree with TUNS (Technical University of Nova Scotia). He obtained his Master of Engineering through TUNS in 1967.

Tony was the eldest son the of the late Jerko and Jerka Orlic (Vinisce, Croatia). He is survived by his two daughters, Maja (Toronto), Marija (Timberlea); grandchildren, Aidan, Iain; sisters Mileva, Andjelka; brother, Goran. He was pre-deceased by younger brother Boris.

There will be no funeral service as per Tony’s request. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to Pier 21.
