Obituary of Wayne Joseph Farmer

64, Halifax, beloved brother now reunited with his loving parents, Arthur and Evelyn Farmer- Drummond, twin Wanda, sisters, Sandra and Sharon; brothers, Clarence and St. Clair in fulfillment of God’s Promise that those absent from the body are indeed present with the Lord.

Wayne was a very loving, generous, kind-hearted, sociable person with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed nature and was an avid biker travelling along sporting his footwear and infamous backpack.

Wayne’s legacy of love lives on in his sisters, Carol (Robert) Blaquiere, Janice (George) Leamon, Frances, Margaret (Bob) Merineau, Valarie, Eleanor and Ruth; brother, Alden (Florence); sons, Wayne and Richard; aunts, Joyce Crawford and Doris Farmer as well as five grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews. Wayne resided with his niece, Chantel.

The Family repeats Wayne’s often expressed gratitude towards 8.2 Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the QEII.

Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where visitation will be held on Friday, October 26 from 12-1 PM, followed by a service of remembrance at 1PM in the funeral home chapel, Rev. Elaine Walcott officiating.  Interment will take place in Beechville Baptist Church Cemetery.
