Obituary of Clifford Stanley Smith

aged 86, Sambro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 30, 2018 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Sambro, he was a son of the late Simeon and Stella (Hart) Smith.

Clifford was a fisherman and lived in Sambro all his life. He is survived by brother, William, Sambro; sister, Ethel Smith, Spryfield, Lois Bergeron (Albert), Spryfield and Bessie Dunning, Ohio, USA; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by sisters, Gladys Nickerson and Mary Smith; brother, Cecil.

The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. K. Sutherland, the doctors, nurses and staff of 8^th floor QEII.

In keeping with Clifford’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Diabetes Association or to a charity of one’s choice.
