Obituary of Rudolph Joseph Skinner

Age 80, of Halifax, passed away on Wednesday August 22, 2018 surrounded by his family at home. Born in St. John Bay, Newfoundland, he was a son of the late Clayton and Gwendolyn (Bartlett) Skinner.

He is survived by son, William; daughters, Marilyn Bryden (David); Joanne Clarke (Andrew); Mary Jane Skinner (Billy); Donna Skinner; Joanna Skinner (Brett); brothers, Richard (Linda); Michael “Mike” (June); Stanley (Pamela); Edward “Ed” (Lynne); sisters, Elizabeth Peters (Peter), Ethel Rideout (Edward); Cindy Thompson; 14 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Shirley (Foulkes); son, Joseph and daughter Christine Skinner.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd 149 Herring Cove Rd., where visitation will be held Sunday August 26^th from 6-8 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday August 27^th at 11am from the funeral home chapel. Interment to take place at a later date.
