Obituary of Allister J. Naugle
Age 76, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2018 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Andrew and Madeline (Slaunwhite) Naugle.
Alley was a family man and a devoted father who loved everything Elvis Presley. He was a man of few words, except when he was telling a story. He enjoyed bike riding and working on cars with his brothers and his nephew Allan, travelling and watching classic movies. He worked with Bill Lynch Shows in his early years and as a maintenance man later in life. He was a jack of all trades and the real life Macgyver.
Alley is survived by daughter, Audrey (Chris); Halifax; son, Laurie; Alberta; 3 grandchildren; brother, Buddy (Shirley); several nieces, nephews, mother in law, Audrey & friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Sheila MacKenzie; son, Alley Jr.; brother, Dickie.
Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 7 from 7-9 pm. A shared service of remembrance for Alley and Sheila will be held on Monday, August 13 at 1 pm from the funeral home chapel. Donations in Alley’s memory can be made to Hope for Wildlife or Youth Project of Nova Scotia.
