Obituary of Marigold Helena Sutherland

97, Halifax, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2018 with her loving family by her side. She had a love for baking, knitting, crocheting, playing darts and bingo. Marigold loved her grandchildren unconditionally and was otherwise known as their best friend. She also had a love and passion for cats and was a supporter of Spay Day cat rescue.  

She is survived by her son, Wayne (Marie) Langille; daughters, Barbara, Susan (Darrell) Musolino; special daughter, Patsy (Gerry) Bourque; brothers, Dusty (Phyllis), Doug Sutherland; sister-in-law, Andrea, and Sally; grandsons, Scott (Peggy), George, Devlin (Gillian), Donovan (Tanya), Ian (April), Mark (Cathy); granddaughter, Nicole (Peter); great-grandsons, Cole, Cody, and Tyler; great-granddaughters, Lorelei, and Corrie (Jakob). 

She was predeceased by her father, James Alexander Sutherland; mother, Alva Corrina Munroe; brothers, Everett, Victor, Sonny, David, and James.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, where cremation has taken place.
