I want to express how sorry Iam for the familys loss. There are some very
comforting words found in Gods Word, the Bible, at Acts the 17th. chapter,
verses 24 & 25 where God is called "the source of life"......the One who
gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to our
loved ones who have died. Another comforting scripture is found in the Bible
book of Job, the 14th. chapter, verses 14 & 15. It speaks about how God
longs to bring back those who are in His memory & see them live on earth
again. I hope this brings the family comfort. My sincere condolence to you &

Even in the days to follow.....its hard to imagine you not around. I want to thank you Shana......you saved our dad....more then you realized. He thinks he saved you but I think it was you both who saved each other. Dad... you took such good care of her so many years and without you I know she would have not had the amazing life she had. You taught her unconditional love and she taught you the same. Shana was accepted without question. She will be dearly missed and I know " diddy " misses her to. Xo

To those who did not or do not know Shana was my legal daughter. She asked me to adopt her at 21 and I was proud to do so. From the posting I see many did not know. Why I will not question. I loved her beyond measure and miss her beyond description. She was my, as she would put it, "My Ride or Die". We spend endless hours talking, driving and just loving each others company. It will be only a short while and I will again be in her presence. Day by day my little Boo until I see you again.

Dear Sellars family:
After reading some of the lovely condolence messages I see that my experiences with Shana were not unique. She was enthusiastic, genuine, friendly, loving, her smile definitely lit up the room and welcomed others. She taught us to persevere through adversity and to learn to have fun and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
I was in Edmonton when I read the news and felt such sadness and loss. My husband got back to NS in time to attend the funeral and told me the room was full all the way to the back. She was so loved and so fortunate to have a loving family.

Dear Violet, Stewart and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your darling, Shana. She was an absolutely fabulous little girl who grew into a beautiful young woman. I remember, with great fondness, teaching her music at Rockingstone Heights School - her enthusiasm and talent was second to none. There's a very special angel singing in the choir. I worked with Shana and she was absolutely the best part of my day everyday. She always had the ability to make me laugh. We sat next to each other for several months and really became close over that time. She was always encouraging and empowering those around her.
I have never met such a positive upbeat person. She had the best outlook on life. The world is so unfair to take such a light from this world.
Please know that I will always carry the memory of Shana in my heart. I wont ever be able to turn the corner at the office and not expect to see her beautiful smiling face saying hello.

Please accept my deepest sympathy at the passing of Shana - a truly beautiful person both inside and out. I had the pleasure of working with this lovely young lady some years ago at Doctors Eye Clinic/FYiDoctors. I remember Shana for her enthusiam and joy, her dazzling mega-watt smile, and her amazing sense of humour and wit. She was always positive and so much fun to be around, and her laughter brightened my day. I was fortunate to reconnect with Shana during an office event last summer, and we had a blast sitting together discussing our "favorite show" - Outlander. I always saw the laughter in those beautiful eyes, and I believe through her short life, she taught us all lessons in humility, perseverance, and finding the joy through adversity. Shana will be missed by so many - she shone her light on all who knew and loved her.

Words cannot express the pain and sorrow I am feeling for all of shana’s family and friends during this time.
Shana was such a breath of fresh air and such a bright light to everyone she met.
She left lasting imprints on everyone’s hearts and she gave wonderful memories to everyone. Memories which well last a life time and which we’ll also bring smiles to our faces when we think of her and remember how she touched all of our hearts in such a special and memorable way.
