Obituary of Gerald Michael "Jerry" Kelly

Age 61, Halifax, passed away Saturday June 2, 2017, at the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Eileen (Jank) and the late Roy Kelly. Jerry was a kind hearted person who always helped his family and friends and would never see you stuck. He is survived by son, Michael; daughter, Michelle (Tim); nine step children; brothers, Peter, Stephen; granddaughter, Ella. Jerry was predeceased by his wife, Beatrice (Slaunwhite). We have lost a father, friend, hero and a fighter. He will be missed by his family and many friends. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where visitation will be Thursday June 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a Service of Remembrance on Friday June 9 at 1p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment to take place at a later date.
