Obituary of Jan Sheldon Petrossie

Age 63, Halifax, passed away suddenly at home on February 12, 2017. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Marcel and Jennie (Fleet) Petrossie. Jan had served with the Canadian Armed Forces until his retirement in 1993. He is survived by children, Trevor Hill (Amanda), Dale (Sonya) and Andrea Colburne; brothers, David (Margaret); Lanny (Roxane); Carl; Lonny; sisters, Sharon Dann (Walter); Lucy Adams (Jack); Carolyn Hovey (Lloyd); Donna Pothier (Charles); Janice Little (Keith) , all of Halifax; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Rita; grandparents John and Mary Petrossie and Ken and Gladys Fleet; brothers, John, Fred, Michael and Phillip; sister, Margaret and nephew Dwayne. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd., where a Service of Remembrance will be held Friday April 7 at 11a.m., Rev. Russell Saulnier officiating. Interment to follow in the Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
