Obituary of Donald "Don, Donnie" Robert Marryatt

Age 82, West Pennant, NS, passed on December 5, 2016 at the QEII Hospital. Born in West Pennant, Dad was the son of the late Robie and Marjorie (Kirk) Marryatt. Dad was predeceased by Mom, his loving wife of 49 years, Lillian "Lily" (Baltzer). Left behind are his loving partner, Bonnie (Panasenko); his children, Bruce (Joanne Richard), Darlene (Scott) Ruhs; grandchildren, Christopher and Krista; brothers, Douglas (Verna), Sherman (Donna), sister Reta (David) Miller; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Dad’s favorite memories were times spent with family and friends.He was a fisherman most of his life and worked incredibly hard to support us. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., A graveside service for both Dad and Mom (Lily) will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, December 9, 2016 in the St. James Cemetery, Sambro, NS. Reverend Helene Burns officiating. Donations can be made to the St. James United Church, Sambro, NS.
