Obituary of Christopher Vincent Reinhardt

Age 48, of Halifax. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother and uncle Christopher Vincent Reinhardt on May 24th, 2016. We will always remember the way he made us laugh, his love for his family and the way he was inspired to create such beauty in his paintings. Christopher was a special person, who touched the lives of many, including his friends and coworkers at Shannex, where he worked for 19 years. Christopher was a graduate of J.LIlsleyHigh School, and then went on to earn a Commerce degree from Saint Mary's University. Christopher is survived by his parents, Morton and Doris (Crossman) Reinhardt, brother Gregory (Kathy) Reinhardt, sister Michelle (Steven) Parkinson. He was a loving uncle to Bryan, Danielle and Scott Reinhardt, as well as Alexander, Eric and Jared Parkinson. A special thanks to the staff of the VictoriaGeneralHospital for their kindness and compassion throughout his illness. A funeral service will be held on Friday May 27th 2016 at 11am at St. Paul's UnitedChurch, with a reception to follow. Burial service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery in Voglar's Cove at 2:30 PM Friday May 27th, 2016. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to St. Paul's United Church.
