Obituary of Lorraine Laing

Laing, Lorraine Beatrice; 75, Of Halifax, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary Site surrounded by her family and many friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Frank Laing, son Shawn Laing (Elena), daughter Shawna Laing, her brothers; George Mitchell, Jim Mitchell, and David Mitchell, grandsons, Nathan and Noah, granddaughter Tori O’Brian. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Leah Kennedy at Walkers Funeral Home for her kindness. Cremation has taken place under the care of J.Albert walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. In keeping with Lorriane’s wishes there will be no visitation. There will be a celebration of life for Lorraine Tuesday, March 8, 2016 1-3pm at the Fairview Legion 50 Hill Crest Ave. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Kingdom Hall.
