Obituary of Muriel R. Tilbury

89, KetchHarbour. On February 16, 2016, we lost our sister and our friend as she passed into the arms of Jesus, her Saviour. The Gates of Heaven opened to welcome her into the presence of our Lord and she greeted her mother and father, Myrtle and Daniel, and her brothers, Edward and Vincent. She is survived by her loving sister, Catherine Sadler; her good friends, Cathy and Peter Myatt, who were with her in her last moments. Muriel was a faithful member of St. Peters Catholic Church, KetchHarbour and a loving daughter and sister. She dedicated herself to her family members during their illness. She was a valuable employee of the Department of National Defense, Stadacona, for 3 decades. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., where visitation will be held on Friday, February 19 from 3-5 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Ketch Harbour on Monday, February 22 at 11AM, Father Alfred Eshun officiating. Interment will take place in May in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Ketch Harbour. Donations in memory of Muriel may be made to St. Peter and St. Paul Parish.
