Obituary of Nicole L. Forgeron

Forgeron, Nicole Lorraine:  36, Brookside, NS, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 23, 2015 after a short and courageous battle with cancer, at the New Halifax Infirmary, Halifax, NS.  Born in Halifax on July 19, 1979, Nicole is a daughter to Vincent and Suzanne LaPierre and Joy (Morash) McMahon.  Nicole, also fondly known by many as Nikki, will be sadly missed by her loving husband and best friend, Ricky, her treasured boys, Seth Daniel and Jaxon Paul, brothers, Devin LaPierre, Matthew McMahon, and Daniel McMahon, nieces, nephews, as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles, and numerous friends, business associates and clients.  She was predeceased by her step-father, Roger McMahon.  Throughout her career, Nicole was a successful hair stylist, and at present, was partner with Julene Mombourquette at Mirror Mirror Hair Studio, formerly known as Geo Valentino’s.  Her husband and sons were her world and she loved them dearly.  She will be remembered for her love of the ocean, a place that always brought her serenity.    As requested by Nicole, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  A private family service will take place.  A celebration of Nicole’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, November 26, 2015 from 1- 3 PM at the White’s Lake Legion.  The family would appreciate donations in memory of Nicole be sent to The Canadian Cancer Society.  Words of comfort may be sent to the family by visiting www.walkerfh.com
