Obituary of Earle Wilfred Settle

Age 86, Terence Bay, passed away April 13, 2015 at the Halifax Infirmary. He was a son of the late David and Ada (Nelson) Settle. Earle loved to socialize with his friends and neighbors and enjoyed going to dances and bingo. He is survived by his wife Mona (Jennings); stepdaughters, Donna Forbes, Mildred Thomas and Susan Slaunwhite; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Lorna (Laurie) Davidson; daughter, Belinda (Peter) O’Neil and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife June and stepdaughter Joyce Creelman, brothers David, Keith and Lloyd, sisters Verna and Lois. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. A Service of Remembrance will take place on Monday, April 20 at 11 a.m., St. Paul’s Anglican Church Terence Bay, Rev. Lisa Vaughn officiating, reception to follow at the Terence Bay Fire Hall. Interment to take place at a later date. Family flowers only please. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Terence Bay.
