Obituary of Henry H. Hill

age 81, died at Halifax on Saturday, March 21, 2015.  Born August 20, 1933 in Halifax, he lived in Halifax and worked at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) until retiring in 1988. Henry had a keen interest in technology and the military history and could often be found along the Halifax waterfront.  He is survived by son, Robert Hill and his wife, Wendy of Fredericton, and their children, Megan, Graham and Sophie; his daughter, Tina Norgaard and her fiancé, Geoff Myers and their son, Gavin.  He also leaves a brother, Everett Hill of Windsor, Nova Scotia and his sister, Heather Hersey of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Henry was preceded in death by his grand daughter, Hannah; brother, David Hill. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, where relatives and friends are welcome to attend a time of visitation and reception being held from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Interment will take place at a later date.
