Obituary of David F. Bryden

53, Herring Cove, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at home. Born in Halifax, he was a son of Marguerite (Rose) and the late Finlay Bryden. David was taken suddenly from this earth and his loved ones. He spent many years working with Logan Drilling Geotech as an Environmental Driller. He was nicknamed "The Iceman", because he was always willing and able to work in harsh conditions. David was a man that always stood strong, was full of life and was dearly loved by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. He will lovingly be remembered by his children, Chad and Amber and their mother, Marilyn Bryden; companion, Karen Mabe and her daughter, Melissa; brother, Wayne (Angela) Bryden; numerous aunts and uncles; best friend, Jimmy Mabe. He was predeceased by paternal grandparents, George and Gladys Bryden; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Ethel Rose. Arrangements are under the direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 2 PM in Emmanuel Anglican Church, Rev. Gloria McClure-Fraser officiating; reception to follow.
