Obituary of Patrick James Greenwood Sr.

Age 80, Upper Stewiacke, passed away January 28, 2015 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Ketch Harbour, he was a son of the late Robert and Helen (Smith) Greenwood. Patrick lived life doing what he wanted, fishing, hunting and always being on the go.  He will be sadly missed by all.He is survived by daughters, Darlene Davis (Paul), Hubley; Sharon Hogue, Timberlea; Diane Giffin-Boudreau (Gerry), Hubbards; brother, Joe (Marie), Stewiacke; half brother, Danny Fleet, Halifax sister Rowena MacDonald (Jim), Halifax; half sisters, Nancy Porter and Diane Fleet, Halifax; grandchildren, Alisha and Matthew Hogue, Katrina Cranidge, Nadine (Mike) Evans, Wayne and Lisa Giffin; great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Mitchell, Jacob and Natalee; daughter-in-law, Jeanne Greenwood, Halifax; sister-in-law Marie Greenwood; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by former wife Ethel (Rhodenizer; sons, Patrick Jr. and Stephen Giffin; brothers, Basil and Bobbie and sister-in-law, Flo Greenwood. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. By request, there will be no visitation or service. Interment to take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
