Obituary of Vincent Elden Williams

Age 65, of Halifax, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on December 20, 2014. Vincent was the only son of the late James Stanley "Stan" and Daisy Lillian (Norris) Williams. Vincent was a passionate family man, always putting them first above his own needs. Along with family, Vincent loved gardening, for which he and his wife Deborah shared a passion for. Vincent was a retired sheet metal worker with the province for 29 years before his retirement in 2004. He will always be lovingly remembered by his wife of 43 years, Deborah (Shiers) Williams; daughter Rena Williams-Eldershaw (Mark), Halifax; son Travis Kane, Halifax; sister Ann Baker (Bob), Halifax; granddaughter Laci Anastasia; grandson Liam Mark Eldershaw; six nieces and nephews and mother in law Helen Shiers. Vincent was predeceased by his parents. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., Halifax. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, spryfield on Monday December 29 at 2pm. Reception to follow. Donations in Vincent’s name can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
