Obituary of Audrey Alice Brewer (Roberts)

Surrounded by her family, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Audrey on November 19, 2014, at the V.G. Site QEII. Born on November 28, 1945 in Halifax and lived in Middle Musquodoboit, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Mini Roberts. Audrey is survived by her husband of 50 years, William "Billy"; her sons, Dwayne (Mariea) Brewer and Mark (Dale) Brewer; daughters, Kim (Doug) Barkhouse and Annette (Shawn) Wilson; her grandchildren Billy, Travis, Michael, Tia, Brian, and Sara; great grandchildren, Logan, Emilee, Jessica, Landyn, and Hunter. Audrey is also survived by her brothers, Clarence (Sheryl) and Raymond (Sara) and Honourary Sister Elvin Neiforth; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where a visitation will be held Tuesday November 25 from 12-2p.m., with a service of remembrance to follow at 2p.m. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of Nova Scotia in her memory.
